  • How much will the inspection cost?
    As you can guess, this is the most popular question. Pricing is primarily based on square footage but can also depend upon many variables such as age, condition, access to crawlspaces, basements, attics and roofs. Inspection pricing starts at $325.   • Are you qualified, licensed, and insured?"
    I am a licensed Home Inspector in the state of Tennessee and received training through ICA (Inspection Certification Associates). I am an active member and Certified Professional Inspector witht InterNACHI, the worlds largest association for home inspectors. Through InterNACHI and other resources, I spend countless hours a year on continued education to better serve my clients. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science/Human Ecology with a concentration in Housing and Design. Framework Home Inspection, Inc. is in good standing with the state of Tennessee and holds Liability and E&O insurance policies.
  • Do you have a sample report I can take a look at?
    Yes. Please feel free to access a sample report by using the link below. Once the inspection is complete you can expect your inspection report the same day or within 24 hours. You will receive an email containing your secure and unique login credentials. This will give you unlimited access to your detailed and interactive report. Upon opening your report, you will be able to interact with an active menu along with countless photos and videos of the inspection.   • How long will the inspection last?
    Inspection times can vary depending on factors such as size, age and condition of the home. Because we perform a thorough quality inspection you can expect the average inspection to last between 2 and 3 hours for a home roughly 2000 square feet in size.
  • Can I attend the inspection?
    Not only can you attend the inspection, we highly recommend it! We really enjoy the opportunity to interact with our clients while educating them about the peculiarities of a property. So please join us and don't forget to ask questions. Remember, we are here for you and you only.
  • How long should I expect to wait for the finished report?
    At Framework Home Inspections, we guarantee a finished report the same day or within 24 hours of the inspection. If we do not come through for you on this promise, you will receive a 100% refund in addition to your fully detailed inspection report.
  • Do you perform Radon, Mold, Termite, Thermal, Lead or Asbestos Inspections?"
    Framework Home Inspections can perform radon testing, air quality testing, mold samplingandthermal imaging. We will also schedule a termite letter for you if needed. When you are scheduling an inspection with Framework, let us know what ancillary services we can provide for you and we will schedule them to coinside witht the inspection.   • What items are included in the inspection and what items are not included during the inspection process?
    Your home inspection will be a non-invasive, visual inspection designed to reveal the condition of readily accessible areas of the home at the time of the inspection. Below is list of areas that may be included in your home inspection. For a more detailed description of the inspected areas please use the provided link: About Your Inspection ​ -roof, vents, flashings and trim; gutters -downspouts; skylight, chimney, roof penetrations; -decks, stoops, porches, walkways and railings; -eaves, soffit and fascia; -grading and drainage; -basement, foundation and crawlspace; -water penetration and foundation movement; -heating systems; -cooling systems; -main water shut-off valves; -water heating system; -interior plumbing fixtures and faucets; -drainage sump pumps with accessible floats; -electrical service line and meter box; -main disconnect and service amperage; -electrical panels, breakers and fuses; -grounding and bonding; -GFCIs and AFCIs; -fireplace damper door and hearth; -insulation and ventilation; -garage doors, safety sensors and openers; and much more. Although appliances are not typically included in home inspections, we will try to test appliances that are staying in the home provided the area surrounding the appliances are safe. Additionally, the operation of the appliance should not cause damage to the appliance or pose any risk of harm or injury to us, our clients or the property.   • Do you perform repairs or do you only perform home inspections?
    No, we only perform thorough, quality home inspections for our clients but will be happy to direct you to reputable businesses who specialize in those areas.
  • Can I contact you well after the inspection is over to ask questions or seek advice?
    Absolutely. Once you become a client of Framework Home Inspections, you automatically become part of what we like to call the "Framework Family". For as long as you own the home we inspected, you are more than welcome to contact us at anytime. We always look forward to hearing from you and offering advice.
